Topic: Care for the Whole
A “Humble Board” approach to governance centers on six key behaviors that strengthen how boards and leaders work together to create meaningful impact. Grounded in humility, listening, and curiosity, it emphasizes asking better questions, building whole-person relationships, co-creating solutions, learning together, and intentionally shaping culture. By practicing these human-centered behaviors, leaders foster trust, psychological safety, and more effective collaboration—ultimately enabling healthier organizations and better outcomes.
