Meet Your Peers

You’re a retreat center leader, and your center shares our core values.

You want to connect with other leaders, learn from your peers, and discover opportunities to collaborate.

Here are three easy ways to get started.

Community Calls are regular conversations that are open to the entire RCC community and visitors.

  • Discussion topics are unique for each Community Call, and intentionally broad so they will apply to any and all centers.

  • Each call is a stand-alone conversation - drop in!

  • These calls are the core activity of the RCC community.

Your voice matters and your contributions help shape our conversations. We’d love to have you join us for one of our upcoming Community Calls. To join, all you have to do is subscribe to our email list. Reminders are emailed twice a month and include the Zoom link to join.

Collaboration Hubs are smaller cohorts focused on a single topic (e.g. resilience).

  • Collaboration Hubs are community-generated, and often sparked by exploratory conversations in Community Calls or gatherings.

  • Participants commit to meeting regularly and may have action steps or a set goal for pragmatic collaboration.

  • Participants know who will attend, share an interest in the same topic, and intend to work or learn together over time.

We’re eager to hear about what kind of conversation or collaboration you want to start with your retreat center peers. Contact us with your ideas.

Affinity Groups are cohorts of retreat center leaders who share an affinity based on personal or organizational identity (religion, tradition, geography, race, etc.).

  • These groups meet 4 - 6 times a year for community building, peer support, and generative dialogue.

  • Participants share an identity marker with fellow participants, and intend to deepen their relationships with this group.

  • In 2022, RCC launched Affinity Groups for BIPOC People in Retreat Spaces, Catholic Centers, and Midwest Centers.

Would you like to connect with retreat center peers whose experiences are similar to yours? Contact us to share your suggestions or request to be added to an existing group.
