Topic: The Retreat Lifecycle: From Staff Workshop to Leadership Training
The Retreat Lifecycle is an interactive, cross-departmental experience designed to help retreat centre staff see the entire journey of a retreat as one interconnected system -- from initial program inquiry through to post-retreat operational debrief. Rather than discussing workflows, teams physically map the lifecycle in small groups, identify roles and handoffs, and surface bottlenecks and gaps. Shared leadership frameworks are used to clarify decision-making and responsibilities.
The question I’d like to explore with this roundtable is: Could The Retreat Lifecycle become a training that retreat-centre leaders can learn and then facilitate with their own teams?

Is there a need for this training?
What parts can be standardized, and what should be customizable?
What materials and tools would make it turnkey for a centre?
Is there grant / funding for this type of capacity-building training?
